Hello Weston Trap Club Member;
A few reminders . . .
A HUGE thank you to all the members that helped run ALL of our VERY successful ATA shoots this past season! It was a complete success!
As the shoots progressed, I looked around in awe of how our totally volunteer crew worked tirelessly for the sport and club they loved, and to make these events happen. There were very many compliments given expressing how impressed our guests were with the professional manner in which the shoots operated. Top to bottom, from target setting, to scoring on the fields, right down to the smallest detail. Many comments were made regarding the quality of our volunteer membership contribution. We all should be very proud.

Vice President Tom Gumz has named Rod Bricko the Fun Shoot Committee Chair. Anyone willing to give Rod a Hand in setting up etc., should contact Rod or Tom.

The Weston Trap Club Membership and Board have agreed to work with the National Wild Turkey Federation in running a fundraising event aimed at raising funds to support a program run by a DC Everest school teacher. The program exposes kids to wildlife, including wild turkeys, in their natural habitat, through a program run by her at the DC Everest School Forest.
In an effort to raise funds to support this program, the Weston Trap Club will assist the NWTF in running a "Turkey" shoot that is actually a "merchandise" shoot at our Club on Sept. 11th, 2010. The day will be filled with fun shooting games and events. Watch this site for more information as it is released.

We now have the roster forms available online. The 'pdf' form is for you to print and bring in. The 'xls' form is for you to complete on the computer and e-mail in.
Remember - We are a Member Owned and Operated club. There are NO Paid Management Positions
We need your help. Even if you cannot donate any other time or talents throughout the year, please find time to attend a meeting or two. We need 15 members present at the membership meetings in order to vote and conduct business. Meetings are held at the club on the 1st Tuesday (of most months) at 7:00 PM or as scheduled by the Board of Directors.
Did you know that Ruth Morris prepares a great lunch for all members present at the membership meetings? All you need to do is be there and donate a buck or two.
