Some of the items posted to the site will be – The Current Newsletter – The Shooting Rules- The Current Years Calendar. I will also email the newsletter to those who would like it emailed. CAPTAINS MEETING - The Captains meeting is APRIL 11, 2006 at 7:00 p-m. This meeting is for all Team Captains and any new members. Shooting fees can be paid at this meeting. The last chance to pay fees is the before your first weeks league score is posted.
HELP WANTED-- We are in need of Setters for the upcoming season - if you know of anyone that will be 16 or older by the start of the shooting season contact Don Suchomski at 715-359-5025. The wage is set at $7.00 /hour.
DONATION - Glenn reports that Russ Howland has had a gun donated to him. Russ will be raffling the gun off during the shooting season.
THANK YOU - The Wisconsin Hunter Safety – Weston Group would like to thank all members for allowing them to hold their classes at the trap club. Special thanks to Duane for starting and stoking the fire for the group and keeping the firewood stocked up. Also thanks to those members that volunteered their time on the Saturdays to help mentor the youth while on the shooting line. The three classes held this year certified over 90 students.
THANK YOU - Glenn would like to add a thank you to Hunter Safety Group for the donation to the club of a combination DVD/VCR. It will come in handy when viewing those training videos shot on the shooting line.
SPRING CLEAN UP DAY - The day has been set for Saturday April 29 at 1000 a.m. - Items on list include; cleaning the club house, repairing outside benches, removing debris from various outside locations and others task as they come up. This is the weekend before the first ATA shoot and will help to spruce up the appearance of the club. Please set aside some time to come and help—the more help the faster the work is done!!
CLUB OPEN FOR SHOOTING- The club will be open for shooting on Sunday April 2, at 1:00 p-m. -- Time to practice as the first weeks league score needs to be posted by May 4, 2006. The club will then be open regular hours the rest of the season.
Sundays, Club opens at 1:00 p.m.
Wednesdays and Thursdays, club opens at 6:00 p.m.
ATA SHOOTS--The first ATA is scheduled for May 6 and 7th - HELP is needed for marking - the day gets under way at 1000 a.m. – If you can be available to mark for a few hours that day it really helps. It also helps to double up with someone and then you can rotate to allow for necessary breaks. If you know you can help that day let Glenn Hammerly know and it will help him to plan accordingly for the day.
