Seasons Greetings to all! As I take over the position of Secretary am looking for suggestions on items you may like to see in our club newsletter or information that needs to be passed on, I am also looking at cost saving measures - one way to do that is for me to email this newsletter to you. If you would like to receive the newsletter by e-mail please send an email to westonhitandmiss@yahoo.com and I will send future newsletters to you by email. If have suggestions about club items you can also send email to this address and we will get you an answer!


Glenn Hamerly is looking for 1 more shooter for the Harlan Campbell shooting clinic being held at the club on May 25, and 26 and May 27 and 28th.

Glenn also needs 3 alternate shooters: contact Glenn for more information 715-359-7673.


The Trap club ceiling now has added insulation thanks the efforts by a crew led by Jack Morris that also included Duane Bricko, Tom Searay and Leon Writz. The time spent on the project will prove and added benefit in overall insulation all times of The year. Thanks to you for hard work and effort.


Ruth Morris wanted to add that she operates the Sunshine fund for the club - so if you hear of anyone in the club with health or illness issues contact Ruth at 715-675-7473.




Weston will be the host for a CWTA shoot Sunday January 15, 2006 from 10am - 4pm. We will be having a cleaning day on Saturday January 14 starting at 10am We also are in great need for help on Sunday for marking and assisting in any way that is needed that day. Please come and help clean on Saturday and be available for a few hours on Sunday - the more people helping the easier it is to change up markers especially if it is on the cool side on Sunday.


The Weston Hunter Safety Group will be holding classes at the club again this year.

January 16-21

February 20-25

March 13-18.

The Hunter Safety classes are held Monday, Tuesday. Thursday and end out with a field day on Saturday.

The classes also include the optional Bow hunter Safety class on Wednesday night - you need to be signed up for Hunter Safety to take the Bow hunter portion of the class. The cost is 10 dollars per class and you can contact Dave Clairmore to sign up at 715-359-8605 or email at dclai401@charter.net. If you email please include name of student - date of birth-telephone number and which class you prefer to sign up for.
